Aromatic Red Cedar, Green, No. 3 Appearance grade lumber. Often described as an 8 ft, 1 x 6 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 3/4 in thick by 5-1/2 in wide. Appearance notes: Surfaced on 2 Sides.

• Aromatic Red Cedar is easy to work, notwithstanding any knots or irregularities present in the wood; it has a distinct and tell-tale scent and is commonly used in closets and chests to repel moths and other insects
• This Appearance grade is visually selected for less wane and fewer knotholes than grade No. 3 allows; No. 3 grade lumber is designed for use in construction where higher grade requirements are not needed; all pieces of this grade must be usable full length, therefore No. 3 combines usefulness with economical construction
• Surfaced green – moisture content in excess of 19%
• The board has been surfaced smooth on 2 sides; the edges are left rough
