LP® SmartSide® Panel Siding is a treated engineered wood product that’s more durable, stable and consistent than traditional wood panels. It’s easy to recommend for light commercial, shed and residential applications that require a premium look and the toughness to combat extreme weather. The SmartGuard® manufacturing process improves upon nature, creating products that are engineered for strength, performance and protection against decay and termites. This panel may be applied over sheathed walls or, where building codes permit, directly to wall studs that have adequate corner bracing and are spaced no greater than 16 on center. A house wrap or weather-resistant barrier is required for installation.
