Aromatic Red Cedar, Green, No. 2 grade lumber. Often described as a 7 ft x 4 in (nominal sizing), this product typically used for fencing. Appearance notes: Bark-On.

• Aromatic Red Cedar is easy to work, notwithstanding any knots or irregularities present in the wood; it has a distinct and tell-tale scent and is commonly used in closets and chests to repel moths and other insects
• No. 2 grade lumber is used in all general construction; this grade is designed for the many uses where higher strength properties are not needed and where serviceability is important; few defects are permitted and knots of any quality are allowed as long as they are well spaced and do not exceed size regulations
• Surfaced green – moisture content in excess of 19%
• The bark is left on the board/post for a rustic, natural appearance; typically applies only to cedar posts, rails, and stays
