Part of Batch 2 in the Virgin Oak Series, this malt gets its complex, zesty flavours from casks made of Chinquapin oak (Quercus Muehlenbergii) sourced from the Northern Ozark region in Missouri, air dried for almost four years, then toasted to medium level. A sub species of Quercus Alba, Chinquapin delivers spicy flavours and aromas. The result is a complex, zesty malt bursting with runny honey, sweet cinnamon and orange peel. 48% Alc./Vol. Natural colour and non-chill filtered. Extremely limited stocks.ABV 48%
