Description
A stunningly delicious 10 year old Highland Park Scotch whisky, bottled by Edinburgh based Independent bottlers, Gleann Mor Spirits. Distilled in 2010, bottled in 2020 after 10 years maturation in a refill ex-Manzanilla sherry butt. It’s a deep and brooding dram, with leather, toasted raisins and walnuts, smouldering campfire, clove studded ham and a touch of mocha. On the palate there’s a pervading nuttiness – hazelnuts and chocolate covered Brazil nuts – with Christmas Cake, sherry-soaked cranberries, espresso, and cask stave. A robust, earth finish provides dark chocolate, black tea, and sticky raisins. Bottled without any chill filtration or colour additinos at 50% ABV.
