Description
Komasa Brewery make this unusual schochu by combining a wine yeast from Sauvignon Blanc with sweet potato. The bouquet opens soft and vodka-like with a subtle perfume of semi-ripe banana that’s echoed on the palate where it turns medium dry and lightly fruity. A gentle peel tang and crisp aftertaste brings a winey feel. Like many Japanese drinks, this is all about delicacy and restraint, so don’t expect overt flavours. ABV 25%
