Nestling at the foot of the iconic Ben Rinnes Mountain, lies the revived Glenallachie Distillery. Historically used for blending, Murray McDavid again celebrates this excellent Speyside spirit in its pure form – a victory for single malt lovers. This luscious single whisky has matured in a 600-litre Sherry butt for 11 years before being filled into two freshly emptied European oak casks, previously used to mature Oloroso Sherry. After 21 months, the enhanced spirit was reunited, having achieved a harmonious balance between rich oak and new Scottish spirit. Cask # 1900542, one of 287 bottles. ABV 50%
