Description
Old Doppo Beer Spirits was made by distilling Dopo Beer (Japan’s first craft beer) and aging it in oak barrels for just over ten years. It has a rich, deep and complex taste with brown and golden hues like single malt whiskey and notes of vanilla, raisins and toffee with spicy aromatic accents from the hops. The first version of Old Doppo Beer Spirits was release in 2007 to great acclaim and immediately sold out. With supply so small, the next release date is undecided and may not be for many years. Only 426 bottles were created from a single cask (Cask No.522) and each bottle is individually numbered. Only 60 bottles have been allocated for Australia. ABV 40%
