Here’s another that arrived a little late for Christmas in Australia (nevertheless, the liquid inside is what’s most important!) The fourth release in the ‘holiday spirits’ series sees maturation in a combination of casks: namely, ex-bourbon, Port, and Madeira. The influence of dessert wines in the finishing process imparts fruit and spice flavours with yuletide associations, balanced with light smokiness.
